Schedule

The 6th IOAA will occur from 04 to 14 August, 2012, in the Rio de Janeiro and Vassouras cities, Rio de Janeiro State. The firsts and lastests days will be in Rio, and the middle days, when will occur the testes and meetings, will be in Vassouras. Below, there is a simple schedule for the activities during the IOAA.

 

4th of August

Teams arrival – registration at the hotel and admission

Welcome ceremony at the hotel in Rio de Janeiro

5th of August

Sightseeing in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Walk tour at the Historic City Center and visit to Astronomy Exhibitions Downtown with all participant teams

6th of August

Morning: Official Opening Ceremony at the Planetarium of Rio de Janeiro

Lunch at Planetarium

Evening - Departure to Vassouras

7th of August up to 12th of August

Olympiad

13th of August

Morning - 3rd IBM : Medals Nominations

Afternoon - Return to Rio de Janeiro

Evening - Closing Ceremony at the Museu de Astronomia e Ciências Afins - MAST

14th of August

Lunch at the hotel and departure of all delegations
